Angela Chee is a keynote speaker/emcee, media/communication coach, creator of YOU, Amplified!®, host of “The Power Of The Only” Podcast, and author of the upcoming book.

A former TV news anchor and reporter with more than 25 years of media experience, she’s now works with visionary leaders, executives and entrepreneurs who are ready to own voice, their power and amplify their message and mission through speaking, video and media. Her mission is to help people break through their barriers, own their Only and step into their full imagined potential.  Through one on one coaching, group workshops and online programs she helps her clients be clear, confident and connected and ready for any opportunity on-camera and off.  

Angela has worked in top TV markets from KCBS/KCAL-TV and KNBC-TV in Los Angeles to Fox 6 and KNSD-TV in San Diego. She has hosted shows for E! Entertainment, HGTV (Home and Garden Television) and helped launch Entertainment Tonight China. She was the featured media mentor/expert on Lifetime’s “The Pop Game” and has appeared as an expert on a variety of local and national shows including The Today Show, The List, Right This Minute and more.  Angela has also made appearances in the film Blades of Glory and TV shows from No Ordinary Family to Heroes.

Her speaking career started at 15, when she was the first Asian American woman to win the title of “Miss California National Teen-Ager.” Now, Angela emcees events, presents keynotes and leads corporate training for universities, associations and companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, JP Morgan, Freddie Mac, Roche, and more on topics related to leadership, communication, women’s empowerment, diversity and media.

Her book “The Power Of The Only” will launch in March 2025.  She believes,”Being “The Only” is not a weakness, it is your greatest strength.”

She also serves on the Media Advisory Board of the Asian Culture and Media Alliance and was the founder of The Zen Mom®, an inspirational and informative website for moms.

Born on the East Coast and raised in Southern California by Chinese immigrant parents, she is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She is a mother of two and a healthy foodie, who loves yoga, quotes and all things inspirational.
