Last week was the presidential inauguration here in the United States and there were so many power of “The Only” moments.

Kamala Harris became the first woman — and person of Black and South Asian descent — to be sworn in as Vice President by the first Latina Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor. Jennifer Lopez called for unity in Spanish after singing This Land Is Your Land. But it was the words of Amanda Gorman, the country’s first National Youth Poet Laureate, that left many speechless. Her words were healing for our souls.

These are the moments that move us; when we see and hear someone who owns their power and owns their voice when we feel the power of words creating a collective magical moment. This is Power, Presence, and Representation. This is being YOU, Amplified!®
