Angela is also available for corporate training and consulting.
Angela Chee is a media/communication coach, TV host and speaker.
A former TV news anchor/reporter, she is now on a mission to help others find their voice, master their message and share their vision with the world. She helps people speak up and step into the spotlight—so they can break through their internal barriers and realize they can be and do more than they ever thought possible.
Angela has worked in top TV markets from KCBS/KCAL-TV and KNBC-TV in Los Angeles to Fox 6 and KNSD in San Diego. She has hosted shows for networks like E! Entertainment, HGTV (Home and Garden Television), Channel One News and helped launch Entertainment Tonight China.
Angela was also the founder of The Zen Mom®, an inspirational and informative website for moms. She has appeared as an expert on a variety of local and national shows including The Today Show, The List, Right This Minute and more. She has also made appearances in the film Blades of Glory and the TV shows No Ordinary Family, Heroes, Shark, Medium, and Boston Legal.
Her speaking career began at the early age of 15, when she was the first Asian American woman to win the title of “Miss California National Teen-Ager.” This title allowed her the opportunity to travel across the country as a motivational speaker for her own generation.
Now as an entrepreneur and thought leader, Angela continues to empower and inspire, speaking at schools, universities, corporations and conferences on topics related to diversity, women’s empowerment, work/life balance, and media. She serves on the Media Advisory Board of the Asian Culture and Media Alliance and is also a WomanSpeak leader for San Diego, helping women discover their voices and become confident, clear and effective speakers.
As a consultant, she helps visionary entrepreneurs and leaders through one-on-one coaching, group workshops and online programs.
Born on the East Coast and raised in Southern California, she is a first-generation Chinese American and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She is a mother of two, a yogi, healthy foodie, and loves quotes and all things inspirational.
